Here you will find a digitized image of Hejdánek's original filing cabinet. Its total volume is many thousand tickets. We publish them in parts as we handle them. At the moment we have worked out what prof. Hejdánek himself developed electronically. However, much work remains on paper cards. In addition to Hejdánek's extracts from reading, the filing cabinet also includes his own thought work from recent years, which cannot be found elsewhere.

Filosof je nejšťastnější, je-li odloučen od vlády veřejného mínění, je-li ve své tiché pracovně; věří, že tam jemu (a nikomu jinému) zjevuje se absolutní pravda; on sám mluví s Bohem, on sám stojí tváří v tvář absolutnu; on pochopil, on je prorokem nové pravdy, kterou nikdo nechce uznat. Není, nechce být mluvčím veřejného mínění; protestuje proti němu ve jménu své pravdy.

Výklady Rickertovy ukazují, že hodnotami rozumí konec konců také jen objektivní skutečnosti, které se od přírodních liší jen tím, že to jsou názory lidské. ...
Jak by však bylo možno jednat neutrálně o hodnotách? Kdo nevěří, pro toho neplatí hodnoty; každá hodnota je moje hodnota a platí jen potud, pokud za ni sám ručím; podstatou kultury jest, že není neutrální.
