As it is, however, what most men do is to drag down upon their own heads a falling ruin which they ought to try to support. To byl den ! Začal bolestí z objevu, že oktopavouci nejsou schopni pomoci Benjymu. Později se mi připomnělo, jak odolná je lidská psychika, když jsem se ze svého zoufalství skutečně dostala nabídkou zjistit víc o oktopavoucích. Neustále žasnu nad rozsahem emocí, který je lidem vlastní – a nad tím, jak závratně rychle se dokážeme změnit a přizpůsobit.
