Ladislav Hejdánek's text proposes replacing the term "new metaphysics" with "prophysics" (profyzika), responding to a fundamental shift in human perception of time and orientation. While the Greek prefix "meta" refers to what follows, the prefix "pro" denotes what precedes. This change in perspective, termed metanoia, leads to a new division of philosophical disciplines: metaphysics should continue to examine the past and what has already occurred, while prophysics will focus on what is yet to come and has not yet happened. Physics itself, in this conception, is reserved for the investigation of current event-based happenings in the present. The author criticizes the existing metaphysical approach to the analysis of events and calls for the development of a new prophysical method capable of adequately grasping the dynamics of emerging reality. This proposal represents an attempt to reformulate ontology, emphasizing the processual nature of being and the priority of the future in the constitution of events rather than static substances.
