This text analyzes Nietzsche's concept of labile equilibrium and his rejection of the possibility of an absolute state of rest of forces. According to Nietzsche, rest is essentially unattainable in the universe, as he argues that if such a state were possible, it would have already occurred in the infinite past. The author explains that instead of linear development or evolution toward a novel state, Nietzsche posits the idea of the eternal recurrence of the same (die ewige Wiederkunft). This circular motion of forces prevents the attainment of an equilibrium that would otherwise signify the cessation of all activity. The study demonstrates that the concept of eternal recurrence functions as an ontological safeguard against evolution in its modern sense—namely, against the emergence of something radically new and unprecedented. The movement of forces is understood as a constant cycle that precedes the establishment of equilibrium, maintaining the dynamics of being within a closed loop. The text reflects on how Nietzsche interprets the thermodynamic and physical concepts of his time to support a specific metaphysical vision where linear progress is replaced by infinite repetition.

Rovnováha labilní (a evoluce)
