This text examines the relationship between the philosopher and Truth through an analogy with Heidegger's conception of poetry. Just as Heidegger argues that in a great poem, language itself speaks while the poet recedes into insignificance, the author posits that in truly profound philosophical thought, Truth itself speaks. Although the philosopher's intellectual performance and linguistic skill are necessary prerequisites, the person of the thinker becomes secondary at the moment of Truth's self-expression. In this sense, the philosopher is seen as a mediator who is addressed by Truth, making listening the primary philosophical responsibility. The text emphasizes that within philosophical expressions, one must seek this speaking of Truth which transcends the author's subjective contribution. A central challenge identified is the rigorous effort required to distinguish the authentic voice of Truth from the philosopher's own conceptual constructs and utterances. Philosophy is thus presented as an act of fundamental receptivity and the mediation of a non-objective reality that addresses us.

Filosof a „Pravda“
A uzavírá: „V básni musíme hledat především promlouvání řeči samé.“ (Vše in: Pfullingen 31965, S. 17-19).
