This text focuses on a pivotal yet frequently overlooked theme in contemporary philosophy: the problem of non-objectivity (nepředmětnost). The author criticizes a deeply rooted prejudice in modern thought that considers only objective or objectifiable phenomena as legitimate subjects for serious inquiry and research. This bias is viewed as a near-fatal limitation that prevents a deeper understanding of the nature of existence and the fundamental meaning of what it means to be. Inextricably linked to this issue is the problem of the subject, which serves as a vital component in addressing the non-objective dimensions of reality. The document also reflects on the significant challenges involved in communicating such abstract philosophical concepts to the general public. Recognizing that terms like non-objectivity or ontological inquiries into being can be perceived as alienating or overly specialized, the author suggests that the concept of the subject represents the most accessible entry point for engagement. Ultimately, the text advocates for acknowledging the gravity of non-objectivity to overcome current intellectual constraints and to foster a more profound philosophical discourse that transcends mere objectification.
