This text explores the profound philosophical significance of dialogue and reflection, presenting them as essential ontological and ethical phenomena. Dialogue is not understood merely as a technical exchange of information, but as a unique space for listening to another, through which we learn to perceive different ways of thinking and open ourselves to the non-objective calls of Truth. The author argues that human thought is not just a result of physiological processes but an active relationship with the normativity of what "ought to be." This perspective naturally extends to the concept of reflection as an internal dialogue with oneself. Reflection enables individuals to distance themselves from their own immediate being, to stand beside or even against themselves, thus continuing the European tradition of "soliloquies" or "conversations with oneself" known since the times of Marcus Aurelius or Saint Augustine. The capacity for such internal reflection is vital for maintaining human integrity, as it allows the subject to critically examine their own thoughts and actions. Dialogue with others and with oneself thus becomes a path toward a truthful and responsible life in openness to the world.

Dialog a reflexe / Reflexe a dialog
„nepředmětným výzvám“, adresovaným právě a osobně nám.
