This text explores the ontological relationship between the subject and the body, distinguishing between the subject as a holistic entity and the subject as the integrating core of that whole. Rejecting traditional dualism, the author argues that the body functions as a living organism only when integrated from within by its subject. Without this subjective core, the body loses its integrity and degrades into a mere collection of matter or a corpse. The body is not a passive vessel but a system for maintaining the means of the subject's activity, preserving elements of the past for future realization. Crucially, while the body is a living being, the subject itself is not a being in the conventional sense. Instead, it acts as a medium between future and past, asserting its pure subjectivity against the flow of general events and conventional time. This analysis provides a profound insight into the mutual constitution of subjectivity and corporeality, where the subject serves as the unifying principle enabling the organism's existence.
