This document captures fragments of a discussion from the "Logic" series, held in November 1988. The main theme is the concept of the subject across various dimensions – individual, social, political, and philosophical. The discussion touches upon key figures and concepts in philosophy, including Husserl's intentional phenomenology, which one participant references and adapts for their own use. There are recollections of personal encounters with Patočka and his interpretation of Husserl's Logical Investigations. The discussion highlights the error of criticizing past thinkers from the perspective of contemporary concepts and emphasizes the necessity of using the works of other philosophers to clarify one's own thinking. In the second part of the recording (cassette 2), the interpretation of philosophical works and the process of personal thinking are discussed, with references to Czech thinkers such as Vorovka, Pelikán, Rieger, Kozák, and Hromádka, as well as foreign authors like Heidegger and Adorno. The idea is expressed that philosophy is not a "self-made" endeavor and that we are all, in a sense, dilettantes within it.
