This text explores the ontological relationship between being and unity, providing a critical reflection on the philosophy of Alain Badiou. According to Badiou's interpretation, as presented by Tomáš Pivoda, being is defined as a multiplicity without unity. However, the author of this document proposes a contrary perspective, viewing being as a fundamental unity within multiplicity, or even a unity that exists despite or above it. From this standpoint, multiplicity devoid of a unifying principle cannot be considered true being, but rather a mere heap of entities.
