This text explores the ontological and epistemological relationship between the categories of 'the given' and 'the authentic.' The author suggests that the human quest for authenticity necessitates a continuous correction of the existing state of affairs towards an ideal, noting that any specific comprehension of 'the authentic' inevitably transforms into a new form of 'the given.' Within this framework, 'the authentic' serves as an autonomous and ultimate criterion that requires no further external validation. A fundamental challenge in this cognitive process is the non-objective nature of 'the authentic.' Traditional modes of thought, rooted in Greek philosophy, tend toward objectification, which renders a direct grasp of 'the authentic' impossible. Consequently, the paper argues that a relationship with 'the authentic' can only be established indirectly, utilizing non-objective connotations while simultaneously focusing on objective entities. 'The authentic' thus manifests within reality situationally and through specific contexts, even though it fundamentally represents the non-objective totality of all being. This dialectic between objective thought and non-objective reality constitutes the core of the author's philosophical reflection.

Pravé a dané / Nepředmětné a „pravé“
K tomu ovšem ještě přistupuje i to, že každé myšlenkové uchopení v rámci tradičních (původně starořeckých) způsobů myšlení znamená jakési „zpředmětnění“.
