This review provides a critical evaluation of a commemorative collection published by the Department of Bohemian Studies at Palacký University, Olomouc, dedicated to Robert Kalivoda, a key figure in Czech unorthodox Marxist philosophy. Released to mark the tenth anniversary of his passing, the volume compiles papers from an international conference alongside a previously published text. The reviewer notes the publication's modest physical format and limited print run of only 250 copies, suggesting that the collection leaves a somewhat somber impression due to its small scale and the varying academic quality of the individual contributions.
