This text reflects on Martin Buber's famous assertion that "all real living is meeting," expanding it into a broader ontological and philosophical framework. The author considers the "encounter" as a fundamental element of existence that is not limited to physical presence but includes relationships with the deceased or those at a distance. At the most general level, the author introduces the concept of "reactibility" as a being's capacity to respond to others, while in living beings, this receptivity is termed "sensibility." The text criticizes traditional metaphysical concepts such as esse per se, which perceive being as an isolated essence. Instead, the author argues that a being becomes real only through mutual interaction and reaction with others. Without an encounter, there is neither life nor existence itself; true being is understood as an event within a network of relations. Finally, the author points to the necessity of a deeper exploration of the specific nature of human encounters within this relational conception of the world.

Setkání a život / Reaktibilita a „setkání“

Chceme-li to vyjádřit naprosto obecně, pak můžeme mluvit o „reaktibilitě“; chceme-li to omezit na živé bytosti, můžeme mluvit o „senzibilitě“ (vnímavosti). Ovšem specifičnost lidské situace a lidských „setkání“ vyžaduje jít do větší hloubky.
