This reflection examines the philosophical problem of the emergence of the new and the higher, while criticizing the conventional understanding of contingency. The author argues that when a random phenomenon begins to persist, it is essential to seek the source of this stability and acknowledge a degree of intentionality or teleology. It is considered inconsistent to assign teleological significance only to the maintenance of a phenomenon while denying it during its initial emergence. The text emphasizes that every genuine event arises from a state of "not yet being" and only begins to be through its occurrence. If we reject the reductionist view that everything new was already implicitly contained in the past, we must recognize emergence as a fundamental ontological problem. Understanding this process is key to grasping the world we live in, as the birth of the new should not be dismissed as a mere illusion, but as an authentic process that forms the basis of our reality and its evolution over time. The problem of emergence thus requires deeper philosophical reflection that transcends simple scientific facticity and acknowledges the creative dynamics of the universe.

Emergence nového a vyššiho
