This text explores the ontological nature of an event as a being, placing particular emphasis on the concept of what the author terms "past-ness" (bylost). It starts from the premise that an event always manifests as being actually present, yet, except for its very inception, it inherently contains its already transpired parts as part of its total being. This raises a fundamental question regarding the distinction between actual presence and those components of the event that have already occurred. Given that these past elements are no longer part of the event's immediate appearance, the event must be actively constituted as a coherent phenomenon by a perceiving subject. This subjective process of phenomenal constitution is contingent upon the specific individual's sensitivity and reactivity. The central problem posed by the text is the transformation of the present moment: what actually happens to the being of an event when it shifts from a state of actuality into the sphere of a past that has been. The work thus examines the boundaries between immediate perception and the intellectual grasping of temporal continuity.
