This reflection examines Heidegger's concept of thinking in relation to Being, as articulated in his "Letter on Humanism." The author analyzes Heidegger's assertion that thinking is not merely an exploration of the unthought but is essentially defined by the claim of Being. Thinking is understood as being inherently related to Being as that which arrives (l’avenant). The text critically considers the possibility of replacing the term "Being" with "Truth" in this context, noting that such a substitution would necessitate a fundamental rethinking of the entire philosophical framework. Furthermore, the author highlights the unresolved relationship between Being and beings in Heidegger's work. The interpretation suggests that the phrase "Being as arrival" implies that Being itself is not the ultimate arrival, but rather the advent of "something else" that cannot be easily reduced to a being or to nothingness. Thus, the text opens a space for re-evaluating ontological categories through the lens of arrival and historicity.
